California Art Institute Figure Workshop
Every Friday morning, from 10 am to 1 pm, we get together and do a three hour long pose. Some weeks we have a costumed model, some weeks we have a nude model. Painting, drawing, sculpture... All media welcome. $20 at the door or whatever you can afford.
Salt Water Divas A Surf Sisterhood
This is a Group Women's Surf Clinic open to beginning & intermediate level surfers. This Clinic is only available if you have already taken the mandatory Land, Surf and Safety lesson. The instructors cell phone is [masked] This clinic Includes: Wetsuits if needed. Soft Learning Surf Boards provided. Personal surf boards may be used with advanced approval by instructor. There will be 1 Professional Instructor to every 4 participants. You must RSVP in advance. Spots are limited. Directions To Mondo Beach Cove (Once there look for the White "ISURF" Surf Boards. From South Stay on 101 through Ventura & exit at State Beaches/Solimar-Faria/West PCH exit. The exit ramp bears to the left and goes through a tunnel under the freeway. Zero out the odometer as you exit the tunnel. Drive north on PCH for 3 miles. At the 3.1 mile mark there will be houses on your left (ocean side). At the 3.4 mile mark you are there. From North From the 101 Fwy. Exit Faria State Beach Sea Cliff. Head south Approximately 3 -4 miles. Mondos cove is located on the right passed a long stretch of beach and beachfront houses. There is parking next to the Rail Road Tracks on the left. Please note. There are no restroom facilities here.
